Malopolsko 2021

Our three-day trip to Krakow with Kvinta was finally realized after a year of rescheduling multiple times due to the COVID lockdowns. In the end, it was a great trip for the kids to re-socialize and visit a beautiful and historical city. We visited the Wieliczka Salt Mines, toured the Old Town, Jewish Quarter, and former Jewish Ghetto. We saw a fragment of the former ghetto wall and visited the Princes Czartoryski Museum, which houses Da Vinci’s “Lady with an Ermine”. Afterwards, we toured both the Auschwitz and Birkenau concentration and death camps, which was the central part of our Humanities curriculum in Kvarta. The trip was a huge success and everyone really enjoyed themselves. You will find pictures in our photogalery.
