Our school curriculum combines the requirements of the Czech Framework Curriculum for grammar schools with the international programmes of the “University of Cambridge International Examinations” (prima to sexta) and the International Baccalaureate (last two years of study).
The Czech approach is traditionally focused on familiarisation with the system of individual disciplines, with more emphasis on knowledge. Anglo-Saxon education is more about developing skills and putting them into practice. Our students benefit from both traditions.
The hourly quotas of the subjects taught in each class can be found in the curriculum. Don’t overlook the yearly exam overview.
The annual tuition fee at the New PORG Gymnasium is for the school year 2023/24:
170 338,- CZK
Tuition includes all learning materials, textbooks, and leisure activities.
The basic interest of the PORG is the availability of studies for gifted pupils regardless of the financial situation of their parents. The school has a scholarship fund that awards scholarships to gifted students from families whose financial situation does not allow them to pay full tuition fees.
Our team includes kind and supportive professionals who guide pupils and students throughout their studies. They help to prevent difficulties in school and in life, and if they do occur, to recognise them early and deal with them successfully. They are also available to all other people involved in the life of the school – parents and teachers.
