Kristina obtained a Master degree in Translation in Düsseldorf, Germany. During her undergraduate studies, she spent two semesters at the University of California, Santa Barbara. After completing her MA in translation, she decided to return to the US to study German literature. While working on her PhD, she taught German language and literature to undergraduate students at her alma mater. She then moved to Prague where she taught German literature at NYU Prague and German language at the Goethe Institute. After spending a few years in Germany, working as a High School teacher in her hometown, she returned to Prague and joined Nový Porg in 2020, where she teaches German language.
Kristina enjoys spending time with her son and her friends. She loves languages but Czech remains a mystery to her. She likes to read and is constantly in search of the new cafés and restaurants in Prague.
