Experience

Saman obtained two degrees in finance and business analysis, then after completing his ACCA qualification he went on to become an accounting professional. After several years of work within various international corporations based in London, he decided to set up home in the Czech Republic with his small family during 2011 and started teaching conversational English for corporations based in Ostrava. By autumn of 2014 he had enrolled onto a school teaching programme lead by the British Council and completed his one-year assignment at ZŠ Mládežnická, Havířov as an English Teaching Assistant, also attaining the TKT qualification. From 2015 to 2021 he was employed as an English Lecturer teaching various subjects in CLIL format at ZŠ a MŠ Ostrčilova, Ostrava with some additional part-time English teaching at ZŠ a MŠ Kosmonautů 15, Ostrava. Saman has continued to develop as an English teacher within International Primary schools and higher-level Grammar schools.

Interests

Maintaining an interest in all sports, but currently active in 5k runs with a past in martial arts reaching black belt level plus achieving a silver medal in British Karate Championship. A keen traveller to both exotic locations and big cities, so I am waiting for my daughter to get old enough to begin some big adventures together.
