As a British International school, we join the nation and many other people across the world in remembering the long service of Queen Elizabeth II.
Throughout her life, she embodied the values of public service, devotion to duty, strength under pressure, compassion, dignity and humility.
Although very few members of our school are British, these values are ones which we strive to pass on to our pupils through example. They are not ‘British’ qualities, they are Human qualities. They are values we share across cultures and borders and so although we may mourn her death, it is her life which will continue to teach and inspire.
“I know of no single formula for success, but over the years I have observed that some attributes of leadership are universal and are often about finding ways of encouraging people to combine their efforts, their talents, their insights, their enthusiasm and their inspiration to work together.”
