Experience

Aylin has been working with Porg International since it opened in 2016. Utilizing her previous experience working with younger children she primarily teaches years 1 and 2. Her love of books and writing led her to get a B.A. in English Literature, Cum Laude from New York. After finishing, her love of traveling and excitement for new experiences led her to get her Masters in Viking and Early Medieval Studies from Uppsala University in Sweden. She lived in Istanbul for many years, teaching English and working in private English nurseries where she gained experience as well as her CELTA from the British Consul. After moving to Czech in 2009, she taught in many states school in Ostrava. Working with Olomouc University she managed to impart some of her teaching experience, teaching new teachers. She is married and has a daughter and a dog.

Interests

Traveling and meeting people, reading and writing poetry, hiking in nature.
