Experience

Veronika started her education in a completely different field – music and piano. During the art studies, it was already obvious that the teaching part of art was the most interesting side of the domain for her – maybe as her whole family have teaching backgrounds.
After graduating from the conservatory, she started to study at the University of Ostrava, Pedagogical Faculty with a focus on primary education and English. She has always been interested in foreign countries, cultures, and travelling in general. This led her to seek out world-wide experience opportunities. Her first courageous step was moving to Canada as an au-pair, followed by studying in Sweden on the Erasmus program. When she graduated the University of Ostrava, she sought a fulfilling international role which resulted in a 2-year-long experience teaching English in Belgium.

Interests

Nowadays, she lives with her family (2 kids) in Ostrava and the international world comes to her class. A house and a garden give her a space for relaxation and in her free time, she joins in various activities with the children, from sport to art.
