Praxe

Andrea obtained a Masters degree (Magister Artium) in Literature, Slavistics, Media and Communication, and History of Arts. She worked as an assistant teacher at the University of Göttingen, Institute for Slavistics, the Max-Planck Institute in Computer Science and as an editor at the Academy of Science in Göttingen for the Encyclopedia of Fairytales. For several years she worked in the field of publishing in Munich. Andrea began to teach German as a private teacher for German in Prague in 1996 and continued to work as a DaF teacher for one of the international schools in Prague from 2001 until 2023. During her years there she has gained a wealth of experience as an educator and  curriculum team leader. Besides teaching German, her work included supervision of CAS projects and preparing students for IB German A.

Zájmy

In her free time Andrea enjoys reading and listening to music. Her favourite authors at the moment include Barbara Kingsolver, Ewald Arenz and Mariana Leky. Andrea loves ballroom dancing and Argentine tango.
