Praxe

Valentine is a  Belgian–American international educator with over twenty years of experience across Pre-K through university settings in California and Europe. Her work spans elementary classroom teaching, literacy coordination, TESOL, art education, mentoring teachers, and developing interdisciplinary programs. Alongside her school-based roles, she is a practicing contemporary artist and founder/director of international arts and education initiatives that bring together artistic practice and social engagement, with a focus on women’s rights.

Zájmy

Valentine likes keeping life active and outdoors whenever possible; right now that mostly means yoga, padel, and keeping up with her two inspiring kiddos. She is a lifelong learner and dreamer at heart, writing poetry, crocheting, enjoying delicious spicy food, travel, and loving word games. Valentine is happiest when she is laughing with friends and family, having good conversations, and soaking up precious everyday moments.
