We’re a small and cozy school. As a result, everyone – students, teachers and parents – know each other personally, which contributes to a family climate, a friendly atmosphere and a safe environment.
PORG Ostrava offers studies at an eight-year grammar school that combines elements of the Czech curriculum with international Anglo-Saxon programmes. Courses are taught in Czech as well as by approved native speakers in English.
We are a Czech school with greatly expanded English classes, which we teach from the 1st grade. We build on prior knowledge in English lessons so that students can continue fluently at their level. However, many students start with English in 1st grade. At the grammar school, students reach the level of "native speaker".
PORG Ostrava Kindergarten is a bilingual school. Thus, great emphasis is placed on teaching English language, which is not taught in isolation. In addition to the individual teaching blocks, English is interwoven throughout the day, making it a natural language for the children.

The PORG Ostrava complex evokes a relaxed and family atmosphere. The entrance hall dominates the gymnasium as a place for openings, group events and relaxation. Within all the buildings you will be impressed by the modern style, well-equipped laboratory, gymnasium and other professional classrooms. The outdoor area includes an athletic oval or a grassy area with play elements. Our pride is also a new kindergarten building with an outdoor playground of above-standard dimensions.
