Experience

Sandra obtained a Master’s degree in French as a Foreign Language with a specialization in Spanish and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish. Then she started a Diploma in Advanced Language and Speech Teaching at the Department of Linguistics in Aix-en-Provence, France. She took courses in Valladolid, Spain, where she frequently stayed. After her studies, she worked as a teacher for the French Army families. Also in charge of kindergarten and primary classes, she was able to travel, use her pedagogical skills and organize many extracurricular activities. After several years of teaching in Africa, she came to the Czech Republic in 2008 where she taught at the Alliance Française and at public high schools before joining the teaching team of PORG – Ostrava in 2016. Over the years, after gaining extensive experience as a modern language teacher, Sandra has been certified for the DELF/DALF of the European framework for languages and IB Language B diploma program. She is continually deepening her qualifications and knowledge in this field.

Interests

In her spare time, Sandra is passionate about astrophysics and chemistry. Zetetics is also part of his field of study. She is always studying and sharing her knowledge. She is also a fan of mechanical sports and sometimes drives some cars. She frequently watches film adaptations of great literary works and her favorite writer is Émile Zola. But she also reads a lot of scientific magazines or websites such as the CNTRL’s. Comics are part of her choices. And not only Asterix and Obelix!
