PORG Ostrava has its very own LITERARY SOCIETY!

Do you LOVE reading books? Is there a book that thrilled you and you feel an urge to tell someone/everyone about it? Or are you just wondering what to read next? Come join our Page Turners! The literary society is open to all upper gymnazium students who want to talk about books not discussed in class.  We meet every other week – sometimes every week 😊 – in our library or little office.  Our inaugural meeting took place on September 20, when we got together to discuss Taylor Jenkins Reid’s The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, a novel about an aging Hollywood movie icon sharing the truth about her glamorous and scandalous life.  Next week we are going to prepare for our November discussion of If We Were Villains by reading some Shakespeare. Want to know more? Talk to Viki Goldmannova (OKTAVA), Ema Hermanova (KVINTA), Karla Kovalova, or look for posters.
