School curriculum

The IB programme allows students to focus on subjects they enjoy and would like to pursue in the future. They deal with six subjects, which they select from six groups. Three subjects are studied by students at a higher level (HL – about 320 teaching hours over two years) and three subjects at a lower level (SL – about 200 teaching hours over two years). Students may voluntarily add a seventh subject.

Tuition fees and scholarships

The annual tuition fee for the IB program at the New PORG Gymnasium is for the 2023/24 school year:

276.035,- CZK

Tuition includes all learning materials, textbooks, and leisure activities.

Scholarship

The basic interest of the PORG is the availability of studies for gifted pupils regardless of the financial situation of their parents. The school has a scholarship fund that awards scholarships to gifted students from families whose financial situation does not allow them to pay full tuition fees.

School counselling centre

A psychologist and a prevention methodologist offer their services at the gymnasium. Please make your appointments individually.

Canteen

The new PORG operates its own school kitchen and canteen. The responsible manager of the school kitchen and canteen is Václav Krbec. The standard menu consists of three main course options.
