Praxe

Kati has a wide range of interests, from music to sociology, which have shaped her creative and engaging approach to teaching. During her university studies, she decided to add ESL teaching and a TEFL certification to her qualifications, believing that teaching English was a meaningful way to explore the world, build meaningful relationships, and inspire the next generation. Over the years, Kati has taught in China and has gained experience teaching a variety of subjects, including violin and Cambridge examples preparation. She eventually discovered that teaching English to young students was the perfect fit, combining her love of language with creativity, fun, and interactive learning. Most of Kati’s teaching career has been based around Prague, where she has worked at several international and bilingual schools. She is passionate about creating a positive, supportive classroom environment where young learners can grow in confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Outside of the classroom, Kati enjoys long runs along the Vltava, knitting cozy sweaters, and playing a variety of musical instruments, with the guitar currently being her favorite. She’s also a firm believer in the power of a well-crafted cup of coffee, which helps fuel her ongoing journey of learning Czech.
