Ximena came from Chile where she studied Pedagogy and Hispanic Philology. She also worked there as a language and literature teacher, as well as Spanish as a foreign language teacher. Apart from that, she has worked and studied in Germany and Brazil. In the Czech Republic, she has done a doctorate at the Charles University, her research was focused on Latin American dictatorships as literary inspiration. She has also worked at the Cervantes Institute and at the Academy of Performing Arts. She has experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language and Hispanic culture and literature to children, youth and adults. Ximena is an examiner for the official Spanish DELE exams at all levels. She also works as an official trainer and qualifier for the international evaluation service of the Spanish language SIELE. Sporadically, she do activities as a storyteller for children and in this role she has had some performances at the World Book Fair in Prague.
Ximena likes singing, reading, dancing and running.
