Praxe

Zeynep started her teaching career after completing her studies in Sociology in 2005. She has taught and trained in Spain, China, Poland, Turkey, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Czech Republic. She started to specialise in young learners teaching and training in 2007 and managed teams of newly-qualified and experienced teachers. Zeynep’s career took a turn towards training in 2016 when she became a full-time teacher trainer. In her role as a teacher trainer, she oversaw and conducted both on-site and online training for adult and young learner teaching qualifications such as CELTA, Young Learner Extension to CELTA, IH CYLT, and IH Very Young Learners course. Even when she was mostly involved in EFL management and teacher training, Zeynep continued to teach young learner classes from large groups of 10-12-year-olds in Hanoi to kindergarten kids in Prague. While she is still involved in tutoring on CELTA teacher training courses in the summer and examining for Cambridge Young Learners and Main Suite Speaking Exams, since 2020, Zeynep has been working as a full time Primary EFL teacher and is enjoying expanding her experience and skills in this new teaching context.

Zájmy

Zeynep’s interests are films, her plants and, when she gets the chance, travelling. She also has a passion for cooking and enjoys experimenting with different ingredients and cuisines. Recently, she’s gotten into cycling and has started to explore the amazing cycling routes of the Czech Republic.
