Praxe

Gabrielle was born and raised in the Philippines. She wanted an opportunity to see more of the world, so she moved to the UAE to attend New York University Abu Dhabi and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She then moved to Chicago, where she attended Northwestern University and received a master’s degree in speech language pathology. For four years, Gabrielle worked with students of all ages as a licensed speech language pathologist in public schools in Chicago. This allowed her to gain experience working with multilingual students from preschool through high school with diverse learning needs. While living in Chicago, she also obtained her TEFL certificate. Since moving to Prague two years ago, Gabrielle has worked at an elementary school teaching English to students in grades 1-3. She is passionate about helping students develop their communication skills and is looking forward to using her skills and experience in a new setting.

Zájmy

Gabrielle enjoys reading, yoga, watching and playing a variety of sports, and exploring new places and cultures, especially through food. She’s currently appreciating the challenge of learning Czech.
