On Monday the 24th of November, we had a special visit as the official UNICEF Representative of Bhutan, Rushnan Murtaza, and the Project Manager for the Monastical Society in Bhutan, lama Lopon Kinley Penjor.
They shared with the whole UPPER what children and the education system looks like in contrast to here in Czechia. They shared with us not only their struggles, but their amazing joys and successes as well. It was a joy and an honor as Lopan had previously spoken at PORGMUN virtually in 2024. The two girl students who organized his virtual meeting were able to welcome him in person to Novy PORG and facilitate his presentation.
